Annual accounts

All companies shall every year submit their annual accounts to the Authority.

The deadline is no later than 6 months after the end of the financial year, see § 138 of the Act on Annual Financial Statements.

Those companies, whose financial year follows the the calendar year (1 January to 31 December), shall subsequently submit their annual accounts for the preceding year before 1 July.

If the annual accounts are not submitted, the Authority will send the company to Insolvency Court for enforced liquidation, see §§ 60 to 61 in the Act on Limited Liability Companies and §§ 117 to 118 in the Act on Public Limited Companies.
